Brunch just got a little reckless…in the best possible way. These Sweet-and-Spicy Brunch Burgers stack juicy Philly Gourmet 100% Beef Smashed Patties with melty Colby Jack, crispy bacon, and a perfectly runny egg that knows exactly what it’s doing. Then comes the kicker: a maple-Sriracha mayo that walks the line between sweet, heat, and “one more bite won’t hurt.” It’s breakfast. It’s lunch. It’s a full-blown flavor power move.
Ingredients:
- 8 Philly Gourmet® Smashed Patties
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 slices Colby Jack cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 8 slices bacon, cooked
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce, such as Sriracha
- 4 ciabatta buns, toasted
Let’s do it…
- Season patties with salt and pepper. In large skillet or griddle, cook patties according to package directions. With about 1 minute remaining on cook time, top patties evenly with cheese. Remove burgers from skillet and keep warm.
- Add eggs to the same skillet, cooking until whites are just set and yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes.
- Combine mayonnaise, maple syrup and hot sauce in a small bowl until smooth.
- Top bottom buns evenly with mayonnaise mixture, two patties, two slices of bacon, a fried egg and top buns, and serve.
