Ingredients:

  • 4 Philly Gourmet® Thick & Beefy Patties
  • 1/2 28-oz. bag shoestring french fries
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup special sauce
  • 4 sesame seed buns, toasted
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese sauce, warmed

Let’s do it…

  1. Bake fries on a rimmed baking sheet according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally, and scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan, until dark golden-brown, about 15-20 minutes (reduce the heat if onions begin to darken too quickly). Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Set aside.
  3. Season patties with salt and pepper. In large skillet or grill, cook patties according to package directions.
  4. Spread special sauce evenly over both sides of buns. Top bottom buns evenly with patties, a handful of fries, cheese sauce, onions and top bun. Serve with remaining fries.

Tip: To make special sauce, combine 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish and 2 tablespoons mustard in small bowl.
